Brief Summary:

This time is reinventing the way of creating content for WordPress 2020, giving it new powers to create, edit and manage your content! Let’s see what these new ways are?

The different new ways of WordPress in 2019 offers flexibility for managing data ( ever since its database model supports the creation of different content models, easily extensible through meta benefits) and the rich user interactions provide a strong mechanism to create, edit and manage content.

In this article, I want to shed some light on these improved capabilities, exploring the new tools at your disposal and showing several new ways to be released sometime in the future!

CURRENT FEATURES:

The following features are already part of WordPress.

Create one time, Publish Global!

As we have described in a recent article, the block-based nature allows it to enhance how content is organized and designed for the database, making it available on a micro basis block by block to any application running on any medium or platform whether it be internet, email, iOS Android Apps, VR, AR, home assistants, and so on). Content managed through this new way can then become the only source of truth for all of your applications, allowing to reduce the cost associated with re-making content to make it proper for each required platform.

Copy/paste from Google Docs with near-perfect formatting!

Whenever you need to get along with other people to create content, we will probably use online tools like Google Docs, Dropbox Paper, Coda or others. These tools make it simple for different folks to edit the content in a document concurrently and give and incorporate feedback. If you are going to choose a content management system to store content, you will need to make sure that it works well with these tools.

2019 new tools now available does this job fairly good. When copying the content from a Google Doc and then pasting it into this new format blog post, the formatting is kept, bullet lists are properly changed to the listed block, and images are inserted where they should. There may be a few inconsistencies (for example different spacing across blocks and in the original document) however, in general, the process is ready for use!
